What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. This page explains the cookies used by the Society of Family Medicine Bangladesh website and member dashboard, and how you can control them.
Session cookies
When you sign in to the member dashboard or the admin panel, this site sets a session cookie so that you remain signed in as you move between pages. This cookie is required for the sign-in feature to work and is removed automatically when your session ends or you sign out.
No tracking by default
SFMB does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this website. We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors, and browsing the public pages of this site, such as News or Events, does not require accepting any cookies.
How to disable cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings menu. If you disable the session cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in to the member dashboard or admin panel, since that cookie is what keeps your login active between page loads. All other pages on this site remain fully usable with cookies disabled.
If you have questions about how this site uses cookies, please write to info@sfmb.org.
